South West In Bloom 2011 – Devizes & Roundway take GOLD!

Our GOLD Flag is now flying proudly on the Town Hall.  This was a massive achievement for the Town’s In Bloom Committee, Parks Department and community groups who all worked so hard after three years of Silver Gilt awards.

The town has looked splendid this year, with businesses, pubs, schools and private residents providing colour and interest everywhere.

In order to retain our crown in the regional event, we are already making plans for 2012. 

Spring Competition entry forms are available from the Town Hall.  Focus Days, planting days and hanging basket workshops will be held to raise awareness and businesses are being canvassed for support and sponsorship for the future.

Meanwhile, we are celebrating with all the residents and businesses in Devizes their successes in the Town In Bloom competition.  Some of the delighted winners are pictured below at the Presentation evening:
