NCS Litter Picking Challenge - Summer 2019

Devizes Town Council are working with the National Citizens Service which is an organisation founded by David Cameron to help teenagers develop life and job skills. Our local team - Team 8 were tasked with creating a project to help benefit the local Devizes community. The team have decided on a project called NCS Youth Litter Project and they hope to inspire primary school aged children to pick up more litter and educate them about the dangers of littering to the community and environment.

The team have developed tick off sheets and the children will be asked to pick up certain types of litter and hand them in to drop off points located at Devizes Town Council and Hillworth Park the sheets will then be stamped according to what litter has been collected and once the sheet is full a new sheet will be issued along with a small prize!

If your children are interested in taking part in the project, please collect a sheet from Hillworth Park or Devizes Town Hall.
