The Shambles & Outdoor Markets
Devizes Market Place and Shambles Market are an integral part of the town. The Big Thursday Market is a highlight of the week and there are many independent traders in The Shambles Market Hall.
In 2019 we took over the running of The Shambles from Wiltshire Council and we are looking to the future and thinking about how it can still be an attractive indoor shopping experience for our children and our children’s children, whilst meeting the needs of the new ways in which we are using our town centres.
