We believe that these services help make Devizes a pleasant place to live and work. This page gives you information about these services, and should you have any comments we would be pleased to hear from you.

Recreation, Parks & Open Spaces

  • Hillworth Park & Avon Road Recreation Area
  • Large Green and Small Green
  • Crammer Pond
  • Leipzig Plantation
  • Quakers Walk, Windsor Drive and Green Lane Allotments,
  • Children’s Play Areas (Avon Road, Hillworth Park & The Green)
  • Green Lane Recreation Area (Sports)
  • Monuments (Estcourt Fountain, Market Cross & War Memorial)
  • The Chequers garden & Penny Bank
  • Floral displays in public areas throughout the town (including hanging baskets & containers)
  • Leisure Centre Partnership
  • Christmas Lights
  • Public Conveniences

Burial Facilities

  • The responsibility of Devizes Town Council for Devizes Cemetery

Community & Planning

  • Consultee on Planning, Community and Health issues
  • Sponsorship and support for Civic and Community events
